Documentation
These are the Librario guides. Pick a topic below. Every page is also available in German under /de/docs.
Use these docs with AI assistants
Every page in this directory has a plain Markdown version: add .md to its address, for example /en/docs/integration/mcp.md. llms.txt lists the pages a language model should read first, in English only. An assistant connected to your library over MCP can also fetch any page here with the get_documentation tool.
The docs describe how Librario works. They do not show what is in your library: for your own publications, files and loans, the assistant has to query your library through MCP or the API, and it only sees what your account is allowed to see.

- Connect AI assistants (MCP) — Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other AI assistants to your Librario library via the Model Context Protocol — one OAuth sign-in, the same permissions you have in the web UI.
- OAuth clients for integrations — When a connector needs an OAuth client, how an administrator creates it, rotates the client secret and revokes the client, and what users see of it.
- Progressive Web App (PWA) — Librario is available as a Progressive Web App and installs on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
- Windows Explorer integration — With the Librario search connector, you search your library from Windows File Explorer. Double-clicking a result opens the publication in your browser.
