# Documentation

These are the Librario guides. Pick a topic below. Every page is also available in German under /de/docs.

## Use these docs with AI assistants

Every page in this directory has a plain Markdown version: add `.md` to its address, for example `/en/docs/integration/mcp.md`. [llms.txt](https://www.librario.de/llms.txt) lists the pages a language model should read first, in English only. An assistant connected to your library over [MCP](/en/docs/integration/mcp) can also fetch any page here with the `get_documentation` tool.

The docs describe how Librario works. They do not show what is in your library: for your own publications, files and loans, the assistant has to query your library through MCP or the API, and it only sees what your account is allowed to see.
