# Librario > Librario is a library management system for engineering offices, companies and research teams. It catalogues publications, standards and attached PDFs, offers full-text search and lends physical copies. AI assistants connect through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. This index lists Librario's public English documentation. Every link points to a Markdown version of a page. Append `.md` to any English documentation URL to get the same Markdown, or send `Accept: text/markdown`. German counterparts exist for the documentation. Replace `/en/` with `/de/` in the path and keep the slug, which is the same German slug in both languages: `/en/` becomes `/de/`. Append `.md` for the Markdown version here too. The documentation describes how Librario works. It does not contain the records of any library. Read live records through the MCP server instead, and use the `get_documentation` MCP tool to fetch these pages from within an assistant. ## Evaluate Librario - [Cloud library software for companies](https://www.librario.de/en.md): What Librario is and which problems it solves for corporate libraries, engineering firms and research teams. -
