Collections
Users can create collections of publications themselves and share them with other users.
Collections serve different purposes:
- An engineering firm uses them to model its “Handapparate”, the working collections of literature its teams keep to hand. Specialists maintain curated collections of the most important literature on a subject. That helps new colleagues get up to speed on a topic quickly, or communicates the company’s “state of the art” clearly.
- A medical technology company uses collections to share the results of partly outsourced literature research with its scientists.
