Your AI assistant names the standard number and whether it is valid
Your Copilot agent could name a standard’s title, but neither its number nor whether it is still valid. That is one of the first questions engineering firms put to a standards library. The MCP interface now returns, in search hits and publication details, the identifiers you recorded without an ISBN or DOI, such as the standard number DIN 1045-1:2008-08 or an internal shelfmark.
For a standard, get_publication also returns the status (active or withdrawn), the kind (normal, draft, amendment or other), and its predecessors and successors. Asked “Is DIN 14230 still valid?”, the agent answers from your holdings and, for a withdrawn standard, names what replaced it. The status is the one you recorded in Librario; Librario does not check it against the DIN catalogue.
More about the connection is in the MCP documentation.
