# Introducing new employees to the library

A well-run digital library is an important tool for new employees.
These best practices show you how to build library use into their onboarding from day one.

## Set up access to the library

As described in the article [Encouraging and improving library use](/en/docs/bibliothekswesen/best-practices/nutzung), access to the library should be as easy as possible.

When new employees join, make sure they also get a Librario user.

> **Create users automatically:**
>
> With the [REST API](/en/docs/integration/api) (Team and Business plans), you can create users automatically. With [single sign-on (SSO)](/en/docs/integration/sso-mit-microsoft), an option on our custom plans, Librario creates the user automatically on their first sign-in.

## Promote the library

Mention the library in your company's onboarding materials.

Include a training session on knowledge management or the corporate library in new employees' first onboarding training.
