# Search and filter within a collection

A [collection](/en/funktionen/sammlungen) bundles the literature on a subject area or project. Choosing one already narrows down which publications are worth looking at. Even within that selection it is often unclear which title answers your actual question. Until now you could not find out: there was no search inside a collection.

The detail page of a collection now has a search field for exactly that. Enter a search term and Librario searches only the publications in that collection. It is the [full library search](/en/funktionen/volltextsuche), limited to the collection.

From the search field you land on the publications list, where the collection appears as a filter. Refine the result with all the usual filters and facets, or remove the collection filter with one click and search all your holdings again.
