# Set the category and collection when importing several publications

When you import several PDF files at once, you can now set the category and collection in the **Apply to all publications** block.

Imported records used to need moving into the right category and adding to a collection one by one, which quickly became a full day’s work for larger imports. Both fields now apply to every record in an import.
