# Dashboard for librarians

Librarians now have a dashboard.
It suggests how to improve the quality of your library’s data.

Why does the quality of your holdings matter?

Search in Librario can only be as good as your data allows.
That is why it pays to fix typical quality problems.

The **language** of a publication, for example, lets Librario apply language-specific optimisations to full-text search.
The **year** is useful too: many users treat it as an important relevance criterion when they search.
Some users show only the most recent publications.
Publications without a year would then be left out.
